In the Press: WIA Summit 2024, Denver

Amber Northcut leads the discussion on the "Transforming the Workplace" panel at WIAS24.

For four days, nearly 1,000 women in agribusiness from across the U.S. (47 states to be exact) and globe (9 countries) took on Denver at the 13th annual Women in Agribusiness Summit. Starting with a special Members Only Night Out at the Colorado State University (CSU) Spur center that featured Dr. Temple Grandin, renowned animal activist and distinguished CSU professor, and leading in to pre-event farm tours (Kalcevic Farms), a leadership workshop, and then two-and-a-half days of content provided by more than 55 industry expert speakers, the agenda was jam-packed.

There also were several breakout session tracks to choose from -- the communications and reputation or sustainability tracks, to name a couple -- as well as a new networking-only facilitated breakout track. Attendees enjoyed a first night on-site reception sponsored by Nutrien and a game-filled off-site reception at Punch Bowl Social, sponsored by Syngenta. We have more than 50 sponsors and 20 partners to thank for helping to make this event a success.
